Hi,

Has anyone played this game? I'm stuck on the second level, and I have no idea what to do.
Get back if you can.

hey, I've played and beaten that game. Let me know what your having trouble with and i'll help you out. The second level has only a couple chalenges, the fifth and sixth are hell.

I haven't played Technoshock in about three years. I'm all for more challenging games in the AG market but I always felt that Technoshock took that a bit too far. Not only that but I couldn't stand the synthetic speech in that game.

The effects were awful, and the ranges unrealistic. i don't know any rifle that has an effective range of seven meters, but still, it was fun. I think the challenge level was perfect. All the other games I've played were brutally simple, if you could shoot fast enough, you had no problem. The only challenging part was moving from one target to the next, and not falling asleep. I like a game where you have to shoot a button to open it, and doing so opens a hole in the floor at the most advantageous spot for you to stand, that's fun to me.

me as well. I've beaten it. Level 2 isn't hard. You don't even need to worry about ducking because you can just back up to the far wall and stay just clear of the fireballs. The only other fireball room that is that nice to u is the one in level 3 that is just after the teleporter in the "hallway of exploding death" as some call it, the room that has fireballs you are forced to duck and misquitoes and items. If you listen to the sound of the switch in level 2 being flipped you'll hear the sound of a door being opend up to your left, if you're facing the switch and that should tell you where to go.

I have three major tips for level 2. First, when you start the level, there is a door straight ahead of you. On the other side there is a robot, its the easiest robot to kill, you don't even have to aim, at least I never di. Open the door and fire twice, that's it. Go in that room first and kill the other robot, you'll need the batteries later on and there are grinades, which don't do a lot really. Then flip the switch and step back. The alarm starts going off, the door opens, evil fiery things start flying at your head, aka, the game gets fun. go left and stick to the wall, do not get the med pack unless you absolutely have to. Line yourself up with the door and wait for a ball to fly past, when it does, run forward and get into that room. The acid in that room will sound like its flush with the wall, it stumped me for a while before I finally just jumped, there's a ledge on the other side. Get the stuff, do some fun bang bang shooty shooty stuff, all good and fun, then leave, but be careful of the fire balls. After that its pretty much straight forward. Just always start on the east side, I think its east at least, its your right when you start the level. do the east room, then do the west room. As for the three tips, step out of the way of fireballs, you'll have to duck later, but why do that if you don't have to. Don't waste your bugspray, you'll never have enough of that stuff I promise you, and for some reason grinades don't work on flying robots, you think they would. Last, your going to get shot, its going to happen, so don't get pissed when it does.

Hey guys,

I actually like this game. The sound affects could've been better, but it's very challenging. Not too many audio games out there are as challenging as this one.
My first question is, where is the terminal on level 2? I can't find it anywhere.

it's in the blue key room. One of those annoying timed doors.

OK, thanks. I'll find it eventually. I'm sure I'll have more questions when I get to story 3. lol

I have a question about L 4
So I can get through the timed door maze fine. But After that how do I navigate around the fireballs to get into the room with the teliporter?

You must execute a perfectly time, run, jump, duck sequence to get onto the ledge where the fireballs are flying, then work your way along until you reach the point where the fireballs are coming from. Believe me they come fast at that point. If by that point you aren't something resembling pulled pork, go into the room there, and they have some nice little goodies for you, mostly stuff that goes boom, always fun. Then, go back out onto the ledge and work your way down the other direction. You will have noticed a guard bot on the way down the first time, he is on a small spit of rock between two pits, line yourself up with that little spit of rock, kill the guard bot, all while avoiding the fireballs, which are still trying to turn you into the main course at a steak house, then go down that hallway. On your left will be a pit, leap the pit turn, fire, kill the machinegunner, get his machinegun, leap back across the pit, and from then on its pretty much straight forward.

By the way, little secret, there is a room on the sixth floor that gives you the entire code, in case you miss a room on one of the other floors. So if you miss a terminal, don't worry about it. You'll get humped by robots a few times trying to get there but you'll get it.
Good luck.

Unless you mean how to get across that room with the enormously long pit that goes across the entire room and which you can't jump across. If that's what you mean, then the answer is simple, shoot the switch.

Post 13 by keyWasFull (Zone BBS Addict) on Friday, 03-Sep-2010 5:25:35

oh yeah, the shoot switch thing, that thing is awesome! In fact, if you feel like forgoing some goodies like a 25% medkit and some armor you can skip this room and you'll be perfectly fine, unless that door on the left requires the blue key, I forgot.

I think it does. The thing I hate is the robot in that room, I always was running low on ammo at that point for some reason.

Thanks all for the help. I would try it right now but am two hung over. lol

the robot in the blue room on the left or the right. I don't like the misquito guarding the one on the left. You have to be careful footing or you might fall in one of those pits or the fireballs might shoot you. I like crushing the prisonguard guarding the terminal in the timed door. It's really fun.
